Hey everyone It’s beautiful in Omaha. I Watched the Orioles play the Nationals on the MLB network today. I was home sick :(  Anyway If its ok with you I would like to ask you some questions.

Omaha Royals

Having a Hometown AAA Baseball Team is pretty cool. Omaha, Nebraska is home of the OMAHA ROYALS, AAA team for the Kansas City Royals. When I was little I thought that it was the Yankees farm team and that someday they would send down Derek Jeter, or Mike Mussina. Alas, I soon figured out that they where the minor league team of the Kansas City Royals. I still cheered for them and I still do. The Royals are thinking of moving out of Omaha to Canada or Texas. If they leave this means no more baseball in Omaha, unless the Yankees answer my plea and put even a single A or AA team here. Please if you would Like this to happen please write me about it. thanks

It’s Friday again. Knights Weekly Baseball Report

Sorry about the wait, But it’s friday again, This means a new KNIGHTS WEKLY BASEBALL REPORT! Bad news no one on the knights baseball team have paid any attention at all.

It’s basketball. I will tell you what we did at tryouts though. I got there a Half an Hour before cause I was so excited!!! Turns out most of the guys trying out where excited too. When we got there we talked baseball. Did our Babe Ruth impressions, and messed around. Does this sound did normal things you do at the tryout. We fielded ground ball. Caught pop ups and threw them to third and batted. When the moment of truth came, Mr.Capoun said we did a great job ( as all future hall of famer coaches do). Then he told us no one got cut. YAAAAAaaaaaaa. We had just the right amount of players.

Ken Griffy Jr said he would like to end his career with the team he started with. The Seattle Mariners. The fans in Seattle miss their superstar. I think it’s fitting that he ends his Hall of fame career with the Mariners. He most likely will not hit 58 home runs. Maybe he can hit 30 like in 2007. The Mariners could use anything with the nightmare season (last year) behind.
Lets hope the Mariners don’t offer him too big a salary. He is injury prone and if he gets hurt he will most likely retire. Anyway lets hope he choses LOVE over MONEY.
